Choose Your Trim Level
The lineup of the main Hyundai Elantra includes five trim levels. You can also get a version called the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid, which is available in two trims called Blue and Limited.
With the main Hyundai Elantra sedan, the first trim in the lineup is the SE. The SE includes cloth seats, a height-adjustable driver's seat, and a six-speaker audio system. You'll also get standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SE has an eight-inch touchscreen.
Next is the SEL. The SEL adds wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SEL also has dual-zone automatic climate control and a keyless entry system with a push-button start mechanism. You will also get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display with the SEL.
Following the SEL is the Limited trim. The Limited has upgraded leather upholstery. The Limited also has an enhanced voice recognition system, a Bose sound system, and more advanced safety aids.
Next in the lineup is the N Line. The N Line is powered by a stronger turbo engine. The exterior features 18-inch alloy wheels and optional performance tires. The N Line is also designed with a sport-tuned suspension system, and it has upgraded cloth and leather upholstery.
The Elantra N is the next trim in the lineup. This trim has upgraded brakes and larger alloy wheels than its peers. The Elantra N also has a trim-specific steering wheel and sporty front seats with bolsters.
After those trims come the trim levels for the Elantra Hybrid. The base model of the hybrid is the Elantra Hybrid Blue. The Hybrid Blue has a six-speed automatic transmission and heated front seats. It also has heated mirrors.
The Elantra Hybrid Limited has a combined 50 MPG with its gas and hybrid motor. The front seats are ventilated in this trim level. The driver's seat and side mirrors also have memory settings.
Interior/Exterior
The interior of the Hyundai Elantra is spacious and comfortable at all trim levels. There is seating for five people across the board. The base model starts with cloth seats, but leather upholstery is available further up the line. You can also get high-end amenities such as a Bose sound system with higher trim levels.
Performance
There are two engines available in the Hyundai Elantra. The base engine is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that produces 147 horsepower and has an automatic transmission. You can also get a more powerful engine with the N Line, which is a turbo 1.6-liter engine capable of 201 horsepower. The Elantra N has a turbo 2.0-liter engine that produces 276 horsepower. The hybrid models get up to 139 horsepower with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and hybrid motor.
Technology/Features
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, and you can get both in wireless form with select trim levels. The base sound system has six speakers. The base trim level starts with an eight-inch display screen, with a larger 10.25-inch display with navigation starting with in SEL trim level. A wireless charging pad is also available.
Safety
A long list of safety aids with the Hyundai Elantra includes forward collision mitigation, blind-spot collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, safe exit warning, and rear automatic braking.
